2. How to Request Deletion
You can request to delete your account in two ways:
• **Via the App:** Log in to your Appra mobile application, navigate to **Settings > Profile > Account Security**, and tap **Delete Account**. Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity and confirm the deletion.
• **Via Email:** Submit a deletion request from your registered email address to **support@appraglobal.com** with the subject line 'Account Deletion Request'.
3. What Happens to Your Data
Upon confirming your request, we immediately suspend all card operations, disable account logins, and initiate the data deletion process.
We will permanently erase your personal profile data, marketing preferences, and login credentials from our production databases within 30 days.
4. Regulatory Retention Requirements
As a regulated financial institution, Appra is legally required by financial authorities to retain certain transactional and identity verification records (KYC data) for a period of 5 to 7 years (depending on the jurisdiction). This information will be strictly archived, securely encrypted, and only accessed for compliance or auditing purposes, after which it will be permanently deleted.
